Covid 19 has hit various sectors of life hard from the day it broke out. It has left dreadful impacts on all spheres of life and people of all classes. Most alarming facet is, this pandemic is expected to last for an indefinite period and will continue its catastrophes. No one knows for how long we will have to bear its existence. In this small piece of writing, let us look at some of the impacts left by this outburst of Covid 19 so far.

Educational impacts

This fact cannot be denied that education brings positive changes in behaviours. It elutriates the personality and teaches you the right way of approaching certain aspects of life. Education teaches you etiquettes, which showcase your personality and character in front of other people. Institutions are the places where students learn these manners that are so crucial not only for the children themselves but also for the society they are living in. Sadly, the swift spread of Covid-19 made it indispensable to intermit the educational activities and shut the educational institutions. This thing deprived our children not only of education but also of the chance to learn their character building etiquettes. If things remained to be the same, it would be a huge blow for not only the children and their parents but also the society, they are living in. Besides millions of families, rely on their livings on the education sector. They are likely to suffer a great deal because of this closure and these circumstances might lead them to starvation.

Religious impacts

Religion plays a very important role in the lives of people. Religious festivals are where people gather and perform their religious duties. These offerings play a key role in the lives of those people as they get the peace of mind and soul through these performing. Besides, these colluvies, also help the people of different regions and tastes to interact with each other. This thing springs the love and harmony amongst them. All these things are so important for making great societies. Unfortunately, religious gatherings also got hit badly because of this covid-19 outburst. Religious events are banned and all the religious places including masajids, churches, temples, sepulchres etc are closed. This cessation of fanes has not only deprived people of their cults but also has ravished the peace of mind and soul. They lost the chance of interacting with their co-religionists as well.

Psychological impacts

Covid 19 is proving to be a harns infecter. It seems to be playing mind games with people. From the very beginning, it managed to attain the attention of almost everyone. All the television news channels, radio broadcasters, newspapers, social media platforms regardless of the region and language gave it full coverage. Unfortunately, during all these circumstances, some of these media houses failed to act responsibly. They did not bother to realize the sensitivity of the issue and telecasted uncertified news just for the rating sake. These media channels are continuously spreading chaos and rumours. These kind of non-serious acts are spreading psychiatric disorders amongst the people, who are already housebound and terrified of the situation.

Domestic violence

Covid-19 has crippled daily life and its affair. It has constrained people inside their houses. No one is allowed to go out. People can’t go to works because works have been stopped. Schools are closed so children are unable to go there too. People can’t access any mean of amusement. This long coercive fetter at home has made everybody irritable. Because of these circumstances, people have lost their tempers and domestic violence is taking place. During the lockdown, many such cases are reported where couples plunged into the bitter arguments, which eventually resulted in separation. At the same time, it has also promoted contumacy among the kids.

It seems impossible to put in writing the ruination brought by the outbreak of Covid-19 so far. It has left multiple effects on our lives. Some of these effects could be short term and pass away after some time, but many of them are expected to last long. Maybe this affliction will end one day but its aftershocks will be felt for a long time.
